Reborder: put the missing border back on the map

The challenge is one boundary, not a whole country outline. Locate its anchors, reconstruct the broad path and use Practice to get comfortable before a timed daily round.

Why play Reborder?

Reborder removes a shared boundary and asks you to draw where two countries meet. Its instructions explicitly allow the line to start and end outside the map. Non-practice rounds have a 60-second timer, so a clear structural sketch matters more than painstaking tracing.

The public menu also exposes Practice, Irish Counties and LIVE 1v1 entries. These are useful options to inspect, though a full multiplayer match was not part of our check. The screenshot records the daily-entry instructions rather than a completed drawing or score.

How does Reborder work?

A shared border is a path with bends, not an entire country polygon. Start by locating where it enters and leaves the displayed area, then connect those anchors using the large turns you remember. This changes the drawing problem: reproducing every coastline feature is irrelevant when only one internal boundary is missing. The timer favors a usable first line over a perfect first segment.

How do you play Reborder?

  1. Open the daily challenge or choose Practice from the menu.
  2. Read the two-country border instruction and identify useful endpoints in the map context.
  3. Draw the missing line and inspect the result; timed non-practice rounds allow 60 seconds.

How can you improve at Reborder?

  1. Find the endpoints first

Use neighboring boundaries or coastlines to locate where the missing line should meet the map edge. Correct endpoints can organize an otherwise unfamiliar middle section.

  2. Draw the largest turns

Establish the broad route before adding smaller bends. A detailed line with the wrong overall direction is difficult to repair within a timed round.

  3. Learn in Practice

Use the untimed practice context to understand the drawing controls and border structure. Move to the daily timer once the interface no longer consumes your attention.

Is Reborder right for you?

A good fit if…

You enjoy reconstructing geographic relationships by hand. It tests where two places meet rather than whether a whole outline looks familiar.

Consider another option if…

You mainly want to learn country names or prefer selecting an answer. Drawing accuracy and a timed interface add a separate motor-control demand.

What should you know before playing Reborder?

How long do I have to draw?

The checked instructions specify a 60-second timer for non-practice rounds. Practice is the place to learn the controls without that timed-round pressure.

Must the line stay inside the map?

No. The introduction says your line can begin and end outside the map. Focus on reconstructing the shared boundary through the visible geographic context.
