Our research method

Better clues. Better choices.

A directory should help you decide, not simply send you to another link.

How we choose games

We look for an active official website, a clear connection to geography or location-based play, and an experience that adds something to the directory. Popularity helps prioritize research; it is balanced with useful learning tools, different play styles and accessible alternatives.

The first edition starts from the supplied September 2026 geography-game catalog and landscape research. That material contains games, broad quiz platforms, learning resources and candidates. We publish selected games and relevant geography sections rather than treating every row as an equally suitable game.

What a check means

We inspect the public official website, record its entry interface, and compare visible mode and access information with the research. An entry’s checked date refers to that public-page inspection. It is not a claim that every round, premium feature, account requirement or mobile app was tested.

Each guide explains the central task in original language, provides practical starting steps, and highlights a limitation that affects the choice. Research and AI-assisted drafting support preparation. Uncertain details are qualified rather than presented as firsthand experience; corrections can be sent through our contact page.

How we use traffic data

Popularity sorting uses third-party estimates of monthly website visits from the supplied September 2026 research. We have not independently remeasured those figures. Visits are not unique players, revenue or a quality score, and estimates from different sources are not directly comparable.

Individual detail pages preserve the relevant caveat next to their estimate. These are dated discovery signals, not live audience counters.

Screenshots and attribution

Screenshots are real browser captures of publicly accessible official pages, dated and linked to their source on each listing. Some images are cropped around the game to avoid unrelated adverts or notices; image compression preserves the captured interface. They are not generated mockups, and a public introduction or account screen is identified as such.

Game interfaces, trademarks, photographs, map imagery and artwork belong to their respective owners. Screenshots illustrate the discussion and do not imply endorsement or a license to reuse the game’s assets. Creators can request an attribution correction or image removal through contact. Live community artwork can change after capture.

Independence and updates

There are no affiliate links, paid listings or advertisements in this edition. The official-game links are ordinary outbound links. Any future sponsored placement will be disclosed and kept separate from editorial selection.

We update a guide when a change is verified, including its checked date where appropriate. Sites that cannot be inspected or captured can remain research candidates until they can be verified. A short list with useful evidence is preferable to a large list of uncertain entries.
