Reborder
Redraw the missing shared border between two countries, with timed daily rounds and practice options.
Drawing
Generate the whole shape before polishing its coastline. Five timed sketches and normalized feedback reveal which proportions or turns your geographic memory repeatedly loses.
Country Draw on countrydraw.app gives five different countries, allowing 30 seconds per outline. You can finish early with Done or let the timer submit. At the end, the site reveals the drawings, an average score and optional leaderboard submission.
The scoring explanation says overall size and position are normalized before comparing borders. Proportions, orientation and mirroring still matter. Red and blue deviations help identify where a remembered outline overshoots or falls inside the reference, making the completed set useful for diagnosis rather than artistic judgment.
The timer makes a simple structural outline valuable. Establish the main axis and a few distinctive turns before adding coastline detail. Normalizing position and size removes some canvas-placement concerns, but it does not rescue a shape that is too wide or mirrored. The useful result is the error pattern shared by several drawings, such as consistently shortening peninsulas or making narrow countries too broad.
Sketch the entire structure first and reserve a few seconds for major corrections. A beautifully detailed first coastline is not useful if the rest remains undrawn.
Check which side a peninsula or bulge belongs on. Normalized size and position do not mean rotation and mirroring are ignored.
Use inside and outside deviations to describe one concrete correction. A score becomes more useful when you can explain which proportion or bend caused the mismatch.
You want a brief, energetic drawing session with several targets. The five-country set makes it easier to spot a recurring weakness than one isolated sketch.
You want an untimed single-country canvas or map-placement scoring. This edition explicitly normalizes position and uses a 30-second rhythm.
Choose a different game based on the experience you want.
The public scoring explanation says overall position and size are normalized. Shape proportions, orientation and mirroring still affect the comparison.
No account is required for the drawing set. The public introduction describes leaderboard submission as optional after the results are revealed.
