Compare the candidate locations with the visible scene. Waiting can simplify the question, but the early answer carries the larger reward.
Guess That View uses webcam imagery, but its location questions are presented as images rather than a guaranteed continuous live stream. The public rules begin with four choices and automatically eliminate choices as time passes, reducing the points available from 1,000 to 600 and then 300.
The catalog includes a ten-question daily entry and variants such as survival, a 60-second Speed Run, Zoom Reveal, Odd One Out and Hotter Colder. Those formats change what evidence and time you have. Our screenshot records the camera-view catalog; use the selected mode’s instructions before carrying over the daily scoring rules.
The answer choices trade difficulty for time. Early in a question you have more alternatives but more points available; later elimination makes the choice easier while lowering its reward. A specific landmark is stronger evidence than a broad impression of climate or architecture.
Look for evidence that separates the listed places. A coastline or road sign can be more useful than identifying the whole city immediately.
Time-based elimination lowers the possible score. If the view already provides a strong distinguishing clue, answer while it is worth more.
Use an untimed or reveal format to study unfamiliar views, then return to speed or survival once recognition becomes reliable.
You want webcam-location recognition with answer choices and several short practice formats.
You want to explore a movable panorama or place an exact map pin. The central task here is selecting a location from choices.
Choose a different game based on the experience you want.
The inspected rules use webcam images with answer choices. Do not assume every image updates live during a question.
The rules eliminate choices over time and reduce the reward as the question becomes easier.
